Daily Morning Services (Fri, Jul 01, 2011 6:00 am - 8:00 am)
These services are held everyday, but their details are only listed on the first day of the month.
You are welcome to join us for all or part of our morning services, called "tsokpa", to sit in meditation. Chanting is in Tibetan, so for those interested in participating in the chanting, transliterated copies of the text are available for use in the shrine room. Morning Tsokpa includes Tara and Medicine Buddha.

Retreat Empowerments, Open to the Public (Sat, Jul 30, 2011 11:00 am - Sun, Jul 31, 2011 7:00 pm)
Please note: Refuge is a prerequisite to all the empowerments being given. If you do not have the Refuge Vow and are unable to attend at 10:00am Saturday, Rinpoche has given permission to take the empowerments with the understanding that the Refuge Vow will be taken as soon as the opportunity arises.
July 30 (Saturday) at 2pm | Green Tara Empowerment
The female Buddha Green Tara is known for her power to reverse unfavorable conditions, protect beings from fear, and promote good health, prosperity, and long life.
July 31 (Sunday) at 2pm | Six-Armed Mahakala Empowerment
The embodiment of the compassion of all the Buddhas, Chenrezi, manifested in the wrathful form of Six-Armed Mahakala in order to avert the obstacles of all beings on the path to enlightenment. The main Dharma protector relied upon by Dorje Chang Kalu Rinpoche, Six-Armed Mahakala is chanted daily at Kagyu Thubten Chöling.
Price per session: $25 Non-members | $20 Members
Fees do not include charges for meals or accommodations.
Please arrive 20 minutes before each session for registration.
Reservations are required if you plan to join us for meals and/or need overnight accommodations. Please see General Information about Events at KTC for details.
