Chanting of Medicine Buddha Practice

Chanting of Medicine Buddha Practice

Date: Sun, Jan 07, 2018 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
Duration: 2 Hours, 30 Minutes

The KTC Sangha will be chanting the sadhana of Medicine Buddha in the Maitreya Shrine Hall. This essential practice can increase our healing powers so that we can help those in our lives who are struggling with illness and obstacles and also remove our own physical and mental suffering. The practice will be led by Lama Chodrak and will be chanted at a comfortable pace. English transliterations and translations for the chanting will be provided, and anybody is welcome to participate or meditate with the group for a morning of healing.

Note: Although the Medicine Buddha empowerment is encouraged for this practice, you are still welcome to join if you have not received it.

There is no charge for attending the chanting but reservations are required one week in advance if you plan to join us for meals and/or need overnight accommodations. Please see General Information about Events at KTC below for details. Please send an email to reservations@kagyu.com if you are joining us for meals only.
