Amitabha Chanting for Liberating the Deceased and Benefiting Beings (Qing Ming)

Amitabha Chanting for Liberating the Deceased and Benefiting Beings (Qing Ming)

Date: Tue, Apr 05, 2011 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
(Tue, Apr 05, 2011 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm MDT)
Duration: 2 Hours
On the occasion of Qing Ming, Kagyu Thubten Chöling will be making prayers and offerings for our parents, ancestors, and the deceased.  We will be performing the short Amitabha practice as well as offering 500 butterlamps and aspiration prayers for the well being of us and all other beings, especially those to whom we dedicate the practice by name, both living and deceased.  For all beings, this practice will help to create favorable conditions and enhance their well-being.

Lama Norlha Rinpoche has said that, "no matter how long ago your deceased dear ones or relatives have passed away, it is still very vital to make prayers and offerings for them to increase their merit."

You may donate any amount and provide us with the names for dedication (both living and deceased).  To make these dedications, download the  Qing Ming Dedication Form.
