Chenrezig Chanting Practice

Chenrezig Chanting Practice

Date: Sat, Aug 19, 2017 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Duration: 1 Hour

Please join us as we chant and meditate in order to realize our inborn great compassion. Our root lama, Dorje Chang Kalu Rinpoche, emphasized the practice of Chenrezig for his western students. In his own words, “Chenrezig represents the union of love and compassion of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Meditation on Chenrezig develops that love and compassion in practitioners, thus leading to the realization of emptiness, the ultimate nature. That is why I chose this deity for Western students.”

The liturgy is translated as well as written phonetically. You can chant along, or silently read the translation.

This practice is also chanted Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday earlier in the day.  If you are interested in participating, please contact Herb Propper.
